Sherre & Bruce

Sherre and Bruce were married at Pumpkin Pond Farm on a blustery October day. Sherre is a respected and very talented painter who shows her work at South Wharf Gallery, New York and England. Bruce is a retired banker, carpenter and not retired equestrian. Margaret Fox, a friend and fellow painter made the outstanding cake that featured handmade flowers and bugs. Bruce's brother Steve married the couple and grandchildren and nephews attended. The gorgeous dress was lovingly crafted by Bernadette Miller with fabric Sherre has collected. Everyone ate delicious food made by Donna Lee and Billy Sherry. Earth Got the Blues played the ceremony music, and the Savage Brothers played the reception music until they had to leave for the Chicken Box to play their evening performance. Keeping in the Nantucket wedding tradition, the entire party moved to the Box.
