Clara and Wesley had a wedding week to remember. The weather was perfect for their rehearsal dinner at the Galley on Thursday night and their welcoming dinner at the Nantucket Golf Club on Friday night. But by Friday evening the ocean began to churn and the clouds and wind rolled in to greet the arrival of Hurricane Earl! Under the wonderful direction of Aisling Glynn, the wedding co-ordinator, we moved the wedding ceremony and reception forward a day. This was no small feat as the wedding was in a beautiful tent on the lawn of Great Harbor Yacht Club and the band, “Party on the Moon” had traveled from Atlanta. Thankfully, Hurricane Earl tracked far enough off-shore so that no damage occurred, and the wedding went off without a hitch on a gorgeous, still day.
