Ashley & Rahul

Ashley grew up summering in ‘Sconset. I photographed her as a young girl with her family on the beaches of Sankaty! Aisling Glynn from ACKtivities, the wedding co-ordinator, facilitated party after party of incredible venues, food, entertainment, and flowers. Ashley and Rahul met at Christie’s in New York. Rahul is from Bombay, and the East meets West aspect of this wedding was gorgeous. Michael Molinar from Flowers on Chestnut out did himself. The rehearsal dinner took place at The Chanticleer using orange, red and purple flowers, the welcoming party under a big tent at The Jetties was filled with blue and white striped table cloths, and Nantucket wild flowers. For the wedding reception at Sankaty Head Golf Club Michael used a variety of succulents, white hydrangeas and roses. Rahul believes that elephants bring good luck. Amy Manning grew two large elephant topiaries that were installed at each event. It was magical!
